The oral-B Vitality Sonic toothbrush works great and is an improvement on the rotating head technology. My kids abuse this toothbrush daily and it holds up very well. The water tight design is especially useful for enduring the abuse of a small child. The two minutes timer keeps my kids from quitting early. I recommend it. :)

It seems to work great to me. Some people say that that you can tell the difference when you buy a $100 brush...but who would pay that much for a toothbrush?

I have used a SoniCare brush for many years and agree that it is a very fine piece of equipment. Unfortunately it is also exorbitantly priced.
I purchased this OralB unit about two months ago just to check it out. What I have found is that I tend to "look forward to brushing" a lot more with this unit than the SCare. It offers a more gentle and less "frenetic brushing experience".
I now use this unit in the morning and the SCare at night, and actually brush two times a day a lot more than I used to...... which for me means the OralB is worth more than i paid for it.

This toothbrush is low powered (no sonic power here.) I have a battery operated cheaper one that has much more power. Oh well, I learned not to try something like this through mail order.

I've used the dual head Oral-B Vitality toothbrush and was very happy with it because the bristles actually move and your mouth feels extra clean. THIS "Sonic" toothbrush is a sham! The bristle don't move!! The entire toothbrush merely vibrates which is probably what causes the 20,000 "movements" per minute. Very very disappointed...don't waste your money on this, I recommend the Oral-B Vitality Dual Clean Rechargeable Electric Toothbrush instead.
